We went out for a few hours yesterday and when we came home there was water dripping on the bathroom floor from the exhaust fan grate in the ceiling. The condensate pan is directly next to the exhaust fan and the condensate drain had plugged up and wasn't draining outside like it is supposed to. I wanted them to come and service it because if it was low on refrigerant it would be harmful to the compressor and condenser if we left it running. The good news was that it didn't need refrigerant. That stuff has gone up to well over $100 per pound. The skinny young dude climbed up through the hatch in the bathroom and blew out the condensate drain with compressed nitrogen and all is well 184 dollars later. I told Kathy that I was going to go to Krogers and buy cheap chicken hot dogs and store brand mac and cheese to eat for the week to make up for the loss. Luckily she disagreed with that idea. We are marinating boneless chicken breasts and ribeyes to do on the grill later along with grilled asparagus and a baked potato. Nineties again today and looking like there will be no break in the heat until next weekend.

Things are looking up here. Gas dropped $.04/gallon at Fastrac. Time for Ribeyes on the grill! Not.
