I have the answer. On the Reid Out tonight some black strategist stated that this all has to do with religious extremism. The solution is to save the child in an abortion and kill the mother. After all she does not want what was created in folly and certainly has lived long enough so give this new born a chance to become what is has to become.

It probably won't come up in any of the discussion among any of our politicians, but it may be time to rethink how we fund our federal highway construction and repair. The idea behind a fuel tax seems fair: people who use the most fuel pay the most to the Highway Fund. In reality, if we raise the amount from pennies per gallon to dollars per gallon people will get mad. It would however encourage people to drive less and make the cost of electric vehicles seem more reasonable. Until of course we decide to change the laws and charge electric vehicles some kind of per mile tax.
I haven't gotten excited about a tax holiday for a couple reasons. First: paying $4.75/gal instead of $5.00/gal for 3 months would have a rather small impact on my life. Second: all of the Reps and 1/3 of the Senators will spend most of their time between now and November running for re-election. Nothing meaningful will get done. I would be surprised if the House even proposes a change to the tax law, certainly not passing one and sending it to the Senate.
