Something has to be done cause this is now way to dangerous being allowed to happen all in the name of gun ownership and easy accessibility to them. I am pretty sure the fathers of the constitution did not intend for to be the end result pf there idea of the second amendment right. That right is becoming a huge wrong.

One of the first school shootings occured amost 30 years ago & there have been a score of them since then. There has been nothing but lip service paid to these tragedies, it's a disgrace. It's all about the money with the goal of the NRA led by LaPierre who's lucky he's not sitting in prison with the crap he's pulled running that outfit & gun manufacturers who's goal is to arm as many people as possible for profit. There are 400 million guns in this Country so they're doing a good job of it.
Then we have characters like Lyin Ted who thinks he's a genius yapping about locking doors in schools which a round from an AR could possibly blow a hole thru the size of his beard if some lunatic really wanted in.

The President is speaking now and so far is saying nothing but hot air coming forth from his mouth. I know as President he cannot enact anything to stop the readiness of gun availability but CONGRESS has to act with some very strong laws so certain rules are needed to obtain a permit of a gun or even buy a gun. I firmly believe these military type guns or machine guns should never be owned by anyone outside of the military. Strong rules need to be placed for background checks. We have to take a test and also prove we can drive to obtain a drivers license because a vehicle can become a deadly weapon as well. The same should be to own a gun of any type. Our children have a right to life while sitting in our schools on any given day which is learning in a safe environment. We all have a right to life even in this abortion pro environment. AR15's should be banned for personnel use. Only allow single shot pistols. I have no idea how guns for hunting purposes can be worked into this current mess. Power cannot be placed before our children. Stop the NRA from giving any monies to any political campaign to influence one way or the other. As a former teacher these assaults and murders of our children greatly effects me!!!!!! Please CONGRESS do something except what you always do and that is ignore this terrible curse upon our children and their families and there teachers etc.
Today we had another mass shooting in a hospital! When will the next one take place and will anyone of us be present and killed in the next mass shooting!!!! That will happen. Kiss your children that are in school since you do not know how long you will have them around you and at there funeral will be to late...

Along with schools maybe we should start locking the doors in hospitals, churches, snyagogues, movie theaters, conert halls, grocery stores, shopping malls, etc.
