He has some commercials running for his run for Governor and I like him. So have a look harrywilsonforgovernor.com/for THE PEOPLE About Harry Harry Wilson grew up in Johnstown, the son and grandson of Greek immigrants. His dad tended bar and his mom worked at a sewing factory. Harry was the first in his family to go to college, working his way through by cleaning toilets and tending bar. He found success in business and used his skills to turnaround and save struggling companies. Now, he’s ready to turn around New York. Cleaned Toilets to Pay for College Harry took those lessons and used them for the rest of his life. He was the first in his family to go to college, working his way through by cleaning toilets and tending bar, doing whatever it took to succeed. He was a campus leader, leading several large organizations, including his campus Republican Club which he grew from 110 members to over 550 members — twice the size of the campus Democrats. He graduated with honors and then went on to earn his MBA.

I'll never vote for another Republican again as long as I live. After what they let Trump get away with & continue to do so there's only a handfull of them that are any good. The rest of them flock to Trump & his goons, who are nothing but a band of criminals like a horsefly on a dog turd.
The party of "family values & law & order". What a joke.

Yes but we cannot void the republican party just because of Trump. It is he who needs to be voided. I still cannot figure out the infatuation with him when he is just so dirty. I never liked how he demeaned people. He does have a need for power at all cost. We witnessed that. I think this guy will not be another republican ass kisser of Trump. I think I will email him and ask him if he is or not.

BHU is adamant about never voting for another republican, and seeing the mess that the democrats have made by electing Joe Biden and I certainly will need a lot of convincing before I would vote for another democrat. Trump's presidency may have opened a partisan divide, but Joe Biden, who ran on the premise that he would reunite the nation has done just the opposite. Repairing the damage that the Biden and the democrats are doing to the nation could potentially take light years. In the meantime learn to speak Spanish and prepare to lose a larger portion of you paycheck to tax increases necessary to fund social programs for illegal immigrants and to pay student loans for the whine asses that borrowed and now think WE should pay their loans. Our country is sadly divided and there are few concrete answers as to how we can repair the divide. If we are to survive, we damned sure need to find those answers. Truth be known, the democrats brought about the Trump presidency themselves by putting Hillary Clinton on the ballot. Now we all suffer the consequences of that resulted. I am sure that there were plenty of democrats that jumped the fence and voted for Trump simply because they didn't want to vote to put another corrupt Clinton in the White House.

Hillary beat Trump in the popular vote. As a matter of fact a Republican has not won the popular vote since G.W. Bush who barely inched past 50%. If it wasen't for the Electoral College there wouldn't have been a GOP president in decades. The majority does not vote Republican in Presidential elections.
I'll take Biden & his faults over Trump any day. At least he's not a traitor who attempted a coup over a lost election. This Country hopefully has had enough of Trump's grievance politics & hate mongering.

Well I am not talking about Trump and we cannot condemn a whole party because of the wrongdoings of its so called leader of the party. I just think Wilson has some valid points to look at with his run for Governor. Taxation, crime, police and law enforcement having their hands tied under the muse of police reform. I also think we have a major issue going on now that needs to be taken a serious look at and that is the ability of a person of owner of a business to be able to defend themselves against the violence present in many attempt to protest for any given cause. I think we will see that happening again with this ruling on ending abortion in the USA. We now have Kamala Harris saying : 'We fight': Kamala Harris looks ahead to a post-Roe political landscape: Stating that: “It has never been more clear which party wants to lead us forward, and which party must push us back. You know, some Republican leaders, they want to take us back to a time before Roe v. Wade, back to a time before Obergefell v. Hodges, back to a time before Griswald v. Connecticut. But we’re not going back. We are not going back. Because at our core, the strength of our country is that we fight to move forward.” www.aol.com/news/fight-kamala-harris-looks-ahead-011142904.htmlShe makes it sound like every Republican is anti abortion and every Democratic is pro abortion and all that does is further divides the Country something we have seen happen with Trumpism. The pendulum is not swinging in balance and that scares me.

Well, thank goodness the popular vote doesn't elect a president in the USA. We dodged a bullet in 2016 for sure thanks to the electoral college.

This also is very bothersome: Yahoo News 'I am angry': Warren blasts 'extremist' Supreme Court after Roe opinion leaks. news.yahoo.com/roe-wade-elizabeth-warren-angry-extremist-supreme-court-181430932.html?fr=sycsrp_catchallI don't think the Supreme Court is " extremist " it is looking at the Constitution through another lens. Isn't that lens that fact that all live from conception to death has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Sen. Elizabeth Warren at a demonstration outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday. (Evelyn Hockstein/Reuters)

Not a topic upon which I would normally comment but for some reason I feel the need to weigh in. The leaked document is not a court opinion but a draft of the opinion of one of the Justices by one of his law clerks. My understanding of the process is that each justice normally writes one which is circulated among the other Justices for review and comment. The final vote normally comes months later with one Justice assigned to write the majority opinion and if it is a split vote another Justice writing the minority opinion.
The person who decided to leak this draft appears to have done so in order to affect the outcome with political pressure.
I am not a Catholic although I have attended Catholic mass since marrying Barb. Baptized Lutheran and attended Methodist churches before that. I am not a registered member of any political party which in NY shuts me out of most of the primary elections. In Minnesota it was possible to vote for one party in one election and another party in the next and I took advantage of that.
I am not very comfortable with our government taking a life in my name. Obviously, I served in the US Army during wartime, so I have made an exception for defense of nation. In general, I am opposed to capital punishment but the pardon of an unrepentant Sirhan Sirhan has caused me to reconsider that.
I find myself unable to see an abortion as anything other than the taking of a life, an innocent one.
