The Turning Stone has brought a lot of tourist dollars to the area and certainly has provided a lot of employment opportunities. I am not surprised that the WSOP has recognized T.S. and is holding a tournament there. Our new casino in Bristol is under construction right now and a temporary casino is slated to open in July to offer 900 slot machines and table games while they build the actual Hard Rock Bristol Casino. That will have a 750 room hotel among other things. Hopefully it will have a positive effect on the local community with what is forecast to be about 2500 jobs. It will be a state run casino under the Lotto Commission rather than a tribal casino. I went by there a few days ago and they are piling materials in the parking lot, trucks coming and going, a guard shack at the entrance to the site, and there are cranes and other equipment on site. the permanent full casino and hotel will be opening in 2023. I hope that it will bring similar economic success and positive impact on the area as the Turning Stone has had in the CNY area. www.hardrockhotels.com/bristol.aspx
