Quarterback confirms he is stepping away from game

44-year-old retires as most successful QB in history





Tom Brady, the most successful quarterback in NFL history, has brought his brilliant career to an end after 22 seasons and seven Super Bowl victories.



News of the 44-year-old’s apparent retirement had emerged over the weekend before he said he was still deciding his future. However, on Tuesday he confirmed his final game came when his Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs last month.

I never watch NFL football but for him that was most likely a big day. Now he can settle into his comfortable chair take his pain relievers and count his millions. Now for the aches and pains to get worse.

It is about time for him to retire. At 44 yrs old I can't imagine taking the beating that he takes when he gets sacked. He is relatively small framed and getting smacked by a huge opposing lineman and the resulting injuries I am sure has taken it's toll over the years.

I am not an NFL fan and haven't watched a pro game since the kneeling knuckleheads came to be. I wish Brady a long and happy retirement. I figured he was about done playing when he left New England and went to the Bucs.
