A wind chill warning has been issued by the NWS for all of Central New York. Wind chills Friday night into early Saturday morning are expected to be as low as -20 to -30.
Frostbite on exposed skin can happen in less than 30 minutes in these conditions.

I would croak if I had to deal with anything zero and below any more. Stay warm and safe PB. Not good weather to be standing on the sidewalk at Walmart waiting for your bus back home.

Gonna be brutal that's for sure. They still haven't nailed down where the storm for Monday will hit.
What it boils down to is 'we may get a lot of snow but then again we may not'.

I am so tired of this. Just to get ready in the morning I have to remember to start in time to crab the Bus and put on two coats a scarf and a hat plus gloves then remember to crab my grocery shopping bag. Now with these temps I need to remember my ear muffs. I cannot wait till summer when all it is is a T shirt and cargo shorts. My winter coat has an outer coat and inner warm shell. I usually just wear the inner coat and a scarf which is so much easier but now warms enough for these cold winter chills. Oh well so anyway I ordered my Biscotti from monksbread.com so I can also take along a pick me up for the journey. Friday I have to go to Hannaford or Price Chopper to purchase my espresso. I like the Medaglia d'Oro Espresso Coffee and only those two places sell it. Illy Espresso is also excellent but the price keeps going up. Approaching $14.99 last time I looked and cannot afford that to often. If you haven't tried the Biscotti and other goodies you seriously must. Most is sold in bundles with shipping and handeling and taxes all included and they ship fast and safely and securely to avoid breakage. So delicious treats from the Trappist Benedictine's in Pifford, NY who spend there day in prayer, solitude and working from 3:30AM to 7:30 PM. Ora et Labora I always have to plug these guys.....
