I just took the dog out before going to bed and it is only 31 degrees out there. I looked on the WKTV page and it is 36 in Utica. What's with that stuff? Keep your damned cold weather North of that old Mason-Line please. It was only in the mid forties all day here. THAT takes some getting used to when it goes from the sixties to the forties in a period of only a day or so. Us thin blooded old folks put on our winter duds while the youngsters are still in sweatshirts or t-shirts.

It was cold last night so I put my heat up to 74 degrees. This afternoon I just put it down to 73 degrees where I usually keep it during winter months. Between the heart pump and the money I get from the County HEAP Program I never have a heat or air conditioning bill which I am blessed with. I looked yesterday at my National Grid bill for last month. I was charged $9.87. Most of that was supply delivery charge. I still have a credit of over $800 in my account and at the end of December I get the HEAP money of $400. So I will have a rolling balance of over one thousand. So I am happy.
I woke up at my usual time of 6AM. I take my morning Blood Pressure pill and go back to bed to 10AM or 11AM of if it is Sunday 1PM. Then I take my second Blood Pressure pill. My last pill I take at 3PM when I usually return from errands unless I decide to take another Bus ride just for the hell of it to enjoy the views which can be difficult in Utica which is so run down.
I did walk outside and pick up a dead leaf and dead branch and dispose of it in the trash can for old time sake.
Wow speaking of wooden toys microplastics are at a very high level in the blood of small children and it is tired to all the plastic toys they play with and stick in there mouths. An organization is pushing for the return of toys made from wood. A lady around here someplace has a store that sells wooden toys. It was talked about last night on WKTV News hour.

I thought the world was going to come to an end when N.Y. outlawed plastic grocery bags. Looks like we made it thru that crisis. Whew!
