I was just reading about an incident at N. Utica Walmart last night involving a drugged up idiot who was reported to store personnel as acting suspicious and was later found by UPD to be possessing a sawed off shotgun in his backpack.
In todays world retailer's store security personnel should be armed. A shooter can kill or wound a lot of people in the time it takes for police to respond. Someone who starts shooting inside a store, church, school, or elsewhere needs to be immediately shot dead right where they stand. No questions asked. My next door neighbor is a paramedic. He was telling me a couple of weeks ago that they treated and transported a drug overdose patient in the stands at a high school football game and found a weapon in that kids backpack while looking for his ID.

Yeah at such a great store! Guy has two young children and his Facebook page is crazy. I wonder if he will still have them; I hope not.

Ged, I wonder if they locked him up or let him out under Cuomo's catch & release scam?
That sawed off was confiscated & that cretin won't get it back. They're illegal in NY.

We had to track him from yesterdays entry, to his exit. He would have been lucky to find the gun in his backpack, let along fire it, the way he was bouncing off shelves and displays. He would have also have had a hard time even getting a shell into John Wilkes Booth's old buried shotgun. If he had manage to break apart the gun to get a shell in it, then wrench the hammer back, it probably would have blown up in his face. We have no clue where this drugged up nutjob found it, but my guess would be buried in someones backyard for the past 20 years.......at least. Kudos to our associates there for spotting this creep.

I think you may have found a niche that will allow you to be happy to go to work, and that doesn't involve exacerbating your torn and injured abdominal muscles. Security, asset protection, or whatever they may call it now seems like a great fit for you. At least if not, it may be a stepping stone to something better, using the present experience to go somewhere else in a similar role.
