I will believe it when I see it completed, but it is good to know that at least for now the beautiful old building has dodged the wrecking ball.

What an asset it can become with 150 apartments, up to code, and ADA compliant.

It would be great to see that place restored as much as possible to its original beauty. Only problem is that so many apartment buildings that are for low income become places intolerable to live at. We had an elderly lady who moved from Genesee Tower to my place and she say it is the difference between night and day. She can actually sleep. If that idiot kid would stop bothering me at 4AM or 6AM or 5AM with his knocking etc it would be peaceful. The office does nothing. Security is a joke. A person I know moved out of Twin Towers for the same crap I am going through. I saw her on the Bus and she said her rent is higher but the peace and quiet are more than worth it.
