www.uticaod.com/obituaries/k0030342Although I haven't been a practicing Catholic in many years I have memories of Father Quinn when he and Father Lutz were both young priests at St. Pauls in Whitesboro, serving with Father Coveneigh, pastor at the time. The two young priests brought a breath of fresh air to the parish and made religious instruction a much more interesting and pleasant experience. I last saw Father Quinn at St. Peter's in North Utica in the 70's when I attended his Folk Masses with my ex-wife. I always found the original and traditional Latin mass to be tedious and boring, and Father Quinn and the folk masses brought a renewed interest in attending mass.

I didn't know he was a member of The Discalced Carmelite Secular Order (OCDS). Bravo for him!
If I remember him I think I met him many years ago summer of 1974 at the Seminarian picnic that I started in the Dioceses and which continues to this day.
