Is this where we are headed if the tax debt limit is not raised by Friday! Is Biden's massive spending Bill tied to this debt limit increase! That really should be scaled way downward. I mean $20,000 subsidy for child care! Really!!!
I understand the government will shut down Friday if this is corrected somehow. They are saying our Social Security checks will not be mailed out. What about all the people who need that to pay the rent and buy to food and alcohol and cigarettes' and drugs! The list go on. My Social Security is far more important than some damn bridge that needs be repaired.

I may have to make a transfer from savings to checking temporarily if the direct deposits are not made. I get three checks and all three of them are federal checks. My civil service pension, my VA disability pension, as well as Social Security, are all in question.  We seem to have to go through this crap every time the federal budget is due. It is ridiculous. |

The GOP didn't care about the defecit when Trump was in power. If the Dems keep this up they'll be handing the W.H. right back to the same organized crime racketeers who got bounced out last November.
The publisher of Woodward's new book should be donating millions of free copies of it on Amazon, Ebay or wherever.

It's McConnel & his right wing goons who are forcing a shutdown because they don't give a damn about SS recipients or anyone else. If Biden was giving a tax cut to their multi millionaire buddies including themselves they'd break their a$$ to avoid a shutdown. This budget resolution covers debt that was incurred when Trump was Prez. & the money borrowed when Trump was running the show must be paid back but McConnell won't mention that. They're going to wreck the economy again & blame the Dems. That's the scheme. |

Doing my happy dance. My direct deposits will be on time. Instead of taking money out I will be able to make my monthly transfer from checking to savings. I have to keep my play money account growing.  I guess there is a certain level of liability when all my income comes from the federal government. All three pensions are well earned, and every year timely payment comes into question while politicians bicker and fight. I will keep my opinions on blame to myself. |

They are going to fund everything through Dec 3rd. I hated the annual threats of a shutdown even when I was still working and would get paid when the issue was resolved. I always keep enough money in the bank to survive and I figure I would either have to dip into savings or use a credit card until I got paid and then pay off the credit card when the statement came. You can bet your ass that congress wasn't about to miss a meal or a financial perk of any sort.

In the meantime the ladies of the USA are protesting the latest decision concerning abortion in Texas whereby no abortions after 6 weeks. That part is ok with me. The fetal heartbeat doesn't kick in till then and I don't think the nervous system is in total webbing at that moment.
Now they are saying many women do not know they are pregnant at 6weeks. To bad be more in tune with your body after having unprotected sex with whomever.
Also why in the hell are lesbians protesting this! Get a life lesbo's.
Hopefully this Texas ruling will become the law of the land otherwise I say get rid of Roe v. Wade it is just a death sentence for an innocent developing child after the sex party of the male and female players.
