I get a kick how the article reads Linda Amador is a PETA supporter, and Thursday, she was protesting in front of KFC. She used to eat at the chicken chain, but has since become a vegetarian and a staunch defender of animal rights. So it was OK before she became a vegetarian? How are chickens being abused at KFC when they are already dead when they get there? These people are a joke and a nuisance to society. I will never be able to condone or respect this type of work.

I think we should start a chapter of "Americans for the preservation of vegitation" and picket salad bars. LOL
I am not much in favor of eating poultry myself, as poultry finds a fresh cowpie a buffet of recycled grains. I think of chickens as overgrown houseflies. Low cholesterol overgrown houseflies. Why do I eat eggs? Because the ovum from cows and pigs are not readily available, and most likely would not fry up sunny side very well.
Everybody has to have something to picket and protest against. Maybe if they can outlaw meat, we can outlaw vegetables, and then we can start on an even playing field and all eat dirt and tree bark.
People like this need to concern themselves with their own lives and not interfere in mine.
Yes! I AM pro choice, and I do eat meat, and hunt big game. NO I DO NOT consider a "Boca Burger" a healthy alternative to a hamburger with onion and ketchup.

Yeah, but, but... think of all those poor wingless chicken's being housed in coops all over American waiting to see if some other body part will be expected from them. And we're paying for it! Us! The taxpayers! Okay, you've (hopefully) all had a chuckle at my obvious ignorance. Now can someone explain to me how I can start a group to be called PETI. That last word is insects. Yes, my friends! It is really time that insect abuse STOPPED in our country. Stop swatting those flies! No killing the spiders, and those mosquitoes really don't suck THAT much blood. If you'll just support my cause we can 'stamp out' (umm, maybe that isn't the right way to phrase that) abused and murdered insects. PETA is ridiculous. Oh! And don't think you're going to be eating dirt and tree bark, Clipper! I know for a fact that insects live and thrive on both! And that have more rights than human beings. Chocolate covered grasshoppers, anyone? ;D |
