www.wktv.com/content/news/No-babies-Lewis-County-General-Hospital-to-stop-delivering-babies-due-to-staffing-575295031.htmlI think ALL hospitals are feeling the pain of short staffing. Some because of nurses resigning over the vaccine mandate, and others because of occupational burn out from long hours and the sad stress of treating a higher than normal number of patients who will never go home. I can't imagine being steeped in corona virus laden air in every patient room no matter HOW well gowned and masked you may be. When Kathy was admitted through the ER this last time she was attended to by an RN and a paramedic. They have had to hire paramedics and national guard medics to supplement their short staff. The editorial page in our newspaper this morning featured a cartoon of a hospital emergency entrance, an ambulance and a doctor telling the ambulance attendants "sorry, we are full of unvaccinated covid patients. Your heart attack patient will just have to walk it off." It is coming down to that in many places. My oldest son is in need of a knee replacement and has to wait because there is no hospital in his area that is performing "elective" surgery.

This is a blessing. We don't need more babies added to our expanding population.

Yes true they are harmless but they grow up to be more humans which is the problem. Next they all merge at the Ganges River burning their beloved dead and dumping there ashes into that water of exponential bacteriophages in which they bathe to wash away their sins. Winding over 1,500 miles to the Bay of Bengal, Ma Ganga — “Mother Ganges”— eventually becomes one of the planet's most polluted rivers, a mélange of urban sewage, animal waste, pesticides, fertilizers, industrial metals and rivulets of ashes from cremated bodies

The Ganges sounds like a place where eating the fish would be like drinking from teh holding ponds at the sewer plant with a straw. Those fish from the Ganges would make the pig faced shark look like a fresh and clean trout from a pristine Adirondack lake.
