I want to share my favorite Indian coffee recipe. Indian Espresso Coffee made without an espresso machine. Ingredients: Instant Coffee Powder ( I usually use Jamaican coffee beans)- 1 tbsp. Granulated Sugar - 2 tbsp. (alter according to your taste) Milk - 1 cup (240 ml) Water - 1 tsp. Cocoa Powder - To sprinkle on top (optional) Instructions In a coffee mug, put instant coffee powder and sugar. Add 1 tsp. water and mix. With a spoon, start beating the mix vigorously. You have to incorporate as much air as you can. That will give you the whipped frothy coffee-sugar mix. The more you beat, the mix will become pale in color. Make sure your mix is whipped and creamy enough. Heat a cup of milk and pour it over the whipped coffee-sugar paste. Stir. Sprinkle cocoa powder and serve immediately. Notes: To make more than 1 cup, prepare the coffee-sugar paste in a bowl. Divide the pasta equally into each coffee mug and pour hot milk. Stir and serve. I really like this way of making coffee, and I hope you will like it too. Try and share your thoughts!

That sounds great. I am a black coffee drinker and don't care for cream or sugar in my coffee, but for those that DO enjoy Espresso and specialty coffee drinks it sounds delicious and a whole lot more affordable than buying it at specialty coffee shop.

I like Espresso. I also add a tsp of espresso powder to instant coffee then half and half and a sprinkle of cinnamon then stir it in.
Why is this called Indian coffee?

It looks good. More like a dessert than a beverage. So sweet and frothy looking. Is that anything similar to the Latte's that the girls all bring with them to the bowling alley. They buy them at McDonald's of all places, haha.

OMG I made this tonight. I used Stevia in place of sugar with no problem.. I did add just a small squirt of sugar free honey! yup they make that with special bee's used for production. Used to make sure it whipped up into a froth. It is delicious. I had it with a dish of melon balls watermelon, cantaloupe and honey dew with minty lime dressing. www.theanthonykitchen.com/melon-fruit-salad/ Try it very tasty.
