The miscreants must play I guess. I remember people I have knew several years ago who went to paintball ranges to play. They say that the paintballs sting like hell when they hit. I have seen photos of people wearing some sort of coverall like garment, and a helmet with a face shield participating in paint ball wars at organized and commercial facilities. They were covered in multicolored splotches, and I have seen photos of people with painful looking welts where paintballs had struck exposed or thinly covered flesh. There used to be a paintball facility near here where they had a variety of things to hide behind while playing the game. It covered about 5 or 6 acres.
I don't know if anyone would remember but in about 2000 there was a similar string of incidents that took place in N.Utica on Herkimer Rd. A group of teens drove down Herkimer Rd. firing randomly at things from a car. They hit our next door neighbor's storm door and siding as well as a camping trailer in our front yard that we were selling for Kathy's cousin. There were other places hit with the paintballs closer to Deerfield Corners. They must have gone to the city line and turned around because on their way back toward the city they struck cars in the FasTrac parking lot, the gas pumps and a car that was being refueled.
They found and arrested the three mental midgets that were doing it. I guess they must have gotten that adrenalin rush similar to the morons that drive around with a baseball bat destroying mailboxes.
