Just looking at the size of the heads tells me that this was photo shopped. Biden doesn't tower over too many folks.

They do look like cute little dolls. I always like the Carters. Down to earth people. Wish things went better for them. Glad the Bushes have taken a likin to them or is that the oh no brain fog I forgot the name of the black president and his wife. Oh my!!!!!! Was it the Chennys! hmmmm. You stated you're new here. But a beautiful photo, personal political beliefs not withstanding. I always liked the Carters although I didn't agree with some of their agenda. I was president of the firefighter's union at Griffiss when he campaigned and then took office. He promised to fix our pay system and then didn't live up to the promise and later in his term he made no friends with ANY of the unions in the AFL/CIO. We worked a 72 hour work week. Three 24 hour shifts a week. For the last 32 hours we worked we made less than we did for straight time. It was due to some sadly errant way of computing the overtime under some vague standard that was part of the fair labor standards act. To my knowledge the poor federal firefighters still don't get paid properly for their overtime. I expect if a person makes a promise they should damned sure live up to it. He and his wife are wonderful philanthropists who hold strong Christian values. I love to see him on TV, still working hands on to build habitat for humanity homes. He is amazing for his age. |

Agree. Political promises made or not, kept or not, they are salt of the earth people and sadly they just don't make them like that anymore.
