Eating high on the hog this morning

We went to LongHorn for steak the other night with friends. Kathy always orders the filet mignon. She only ate about half of her steak because it was tough. The manager not only took it off our check, she had them cook another one for Kathy to bring home.

This morning I heated it up, popped a couple slices of Italian bread in the toaster and scrambled some eggs.

Our dog may be a little bit spoiled. How many dogs do you know that gets filet mignon for breakfast with a scrambled egg? I cut her off a small piece of my steak and gave her a little bit of scrambled egg. I could get use to this. Not everyday that I get to eat a nine ounce filet mignon for breakfast.

We give our dog a hard boiled egg as a treat once in a while. We used to mix it in with her food but she would pick out the egg & leave the dog food. So now we just give it to her straight up.

I am a bit disappointed this morning. I looked in the refrigerator for another filet to eat with a couple eggs and there was none there. I guess I will have to settle for a simple short stack of pannycakes.

I'll bet your dog is dissapointed too! Lol

LOL. The pup was pretty satisfied with a bit of one of my pancake with a drizzle of maple syrup.
