I was talking with several people I know via the Buses while traveling here and there about getting the vaccine and only two said that got the vaccine on Monday. The rest of them say around 15 do not want the vaccine. They said they never take the flu vaccine and have never get the flu. I told them very true many never get the flu vaccine and never get the flu. One black guy yelled out I don't trust the government with this vaccine and they not gonna stick me with it. I don't know whether to believe him or not cause he always tells me he never has had a cold. He take garlic pills daily. He told me that a long time ago and I started taking garlic pills as well. I do eat a lot of garlic also.

Well if they get the corona virus they will WISH they had taken the vaccine. To each their own. It is a personal prerogative whether or not they will take the vaccine, but until a large percentage of people DO take vaccine we will continue to keep on having surges every time there is a breakout in a large group of people who then go on to spread it around.

I skipped the flu shot about 10 years ago & I regretted it. I got the flu & ended up with bronchitis & had to go to the Dr. for an antibiotic. Not fun. I've gotten the shot every year since then & have gotten the flu not once. I encourage everyone to get the shot in order to protect yourself from the morons who won't. As soon as I'm eligible I'm going for it.

Pizza: I don't know if garlic or garlic pills will protect you from covid, unless you cook it and hang it in a bag around your neck. then you won't have to worry about social distancing.

The Wynn hospital: I understand that Steve Wynn donated $50m for a new hospital, being built downtown, across the street from where his dads' old bingo parlor was located. Any new news on that?

The Wynn hospital: I understand that Steve Wynn donated $50m for a new hospital, being built downtown, across the street from where his dads' old bingo parlor was located. Any new news on that? Wynn's donation was a news story on WKTV last night. Not many details on what the money will be used for. Wynn did well for himself in Vegas, he's worth a few billion.

www.wktv.com/content/news/MVHS-names-new-hospital-after-Wynn-family-following-50-million-donation-573918901.htmlIt is a great contribution to the area and more specifically to the hospital, but now comes the typical political noise and trash talking. He is being compared to Donald Trump having his name on buildings such as Trump Tower, due to the fact that Trump is alleged to be a sexual predator, and alleging that Wynn's name shouldn't be on the building due to sex related charges made against him in the past. I suppose that if someone wants to insure that Wynn's name doesn't go on the building as a result of his 50 million dollar donation, they could donate 60 MILLION and out bid him for the name placed on the project. Nothing sways politicians any faster than that extra dollar, and 10 million would definitely seal the deal. People are bitching and moaning because the costs are going to hit taxpayers in their pocket book, yet they want to bitch over a name being placed on the building by someone that is relieving 50 million dollars worth of that prospective tax burden. Go figure.

The money is to be used for state of the art items that was able to be added onto the original hospital cost. Good idea. I am sure it will help greatly. He must be a very kind considerate caring person. I say God Bless him.

Steve and I were in grade school together, at John F. Hughes. We lived fairly close to each other, he a few blocks east of the school, just off Bonnie Brae, and, me on Amy Ave. He was very social, and, had a great sense of humor. At that time, we both had a bunch of Howdy Doody marionettes, and, would play with them, at his house. I also had a wonderful dinner there. Looking back, I gained a lot of insight re: his life style at home. As I recall, he didn't finish thru 8th grade because he went into a military academy.

He mentioned last night that he went to Hughes. I knew he was from Utica & moved to Vegas & became very wealthy. The donation is a Godsend imho.
