I am off to get my first shot at the VA today. I called and they said that the lines are not long and usually the wait is less than 15 minutes plus the 15 minute period after the injection to insure that you aren't going to have a severe reaction to the vaccine.
It is a nice sunny day so I will stop and buy some fake flowers to refresh the ones on my friend John's grave at the National Cemetery while I am at the VA. The cemetery is adjacent to the VA campus. They don't permit live plants or flowers until after April 15th.
