It is fifty degrees and sunny. Warm enough to get out of the house, crank up the country tunes and relax in my shop for awhile. I am cutting out the profiles on the band saw and gluing up some trains for little guys. I haven't worked out there in awhile. It has been a bit too cold for my old bones lately.
Have a good day. Stay safe, stay well.

Enjoy Clipper! I'm opting out of snowblowing until later this evening after the birds go to bed, much like BHU. I'm not going anywhere till tomorrow, and just plain don't feel like it.

Well, I ended up snowblowing & it wasen't bad out at all. The snow was coming down but with a winter jacket, hoodie & gloves I wasen't cold at all & the fresh air felt good. Figured I better get it down as I have to head out early tomorrow to have the truck inspected & new serpentine belt put on. Ca ching, ca ching.

Well, were coming down to the end of it here. Only 5 day's left in February. Snowing like crazy here, so I ordered Chinese this afternoon and spent the day in the studio working on a painting. I don't go out unless I have to. Nasty out there besides.

Only 5 days left in February and it is going to be in the mid to high 50's here the rest of this week. Thank goodness our transition to spring weather normally comes around the first part or middle of March. I have mowed the lawn in March in years gone by. The first year we were here I mowed a week before Christmas and had to start mowing again in mid March. We still see some cold nights and an occasional frost but temperatures usually moderate enough to get out and start working around the outside of the house and yard. We still don't put in a garden until early May. I will just be real happy to be able to hang up the winter duds and be comfortable in my flannel shirts again.
I don't like the winter weather period. Neither here or up there in the CNY area. The only consolation being that our winters here and the crappy weather is shorter lived. I wouldn't care if I never saw another snow flake as long as I live.
