My neighbor is in line for her second shot. They waited 6 hours in line for the first shot. She put a video on FB of her and her husband driving forever to get to the end of the line to get in line. Cars lined the shoulder of the road for miles, not to mention how many were probably already inside the speedway property  . I think I have figured out a way to make an extra few bucks. I will rent two golf carts. Kathy can drive one up and down the length of the line selling coffee and bag lunches and I will drive around pulling a porta-potty on a little trailer. $1 to pee and $2 if they need to go #2. If they need toilet paper to finish the job, that will be $1 extra because of the shortage. LOL |

I tried signing up for the first and second dose at Walgreens. First you have to open an account which is ok with me so I did that. Then one has to answer questions for eligibility again ok with me. Then click on a link to take you to a signup section for nearest Walgreens offering the vaccine. For some reason I keep getting a Walgreens in ROME, ny. i Wanted the one on Herkimer Road. They must be either all filled up or ran out of vaccine. So I won't bother with that anymore.

I think Walgreen's and CVS is only offering the vaccine at certain locations. Walmart is the first place I have heard of that is offering the vaccine at ALL it's locations around here. Does Centro still run a bus to Rome? That would make for a nice afternoon ride if it were not punctuated by a stab in the arm.  |

LOL What do you mean "the rest, not so much?" THAT is where I would think about expansion. I might rent a larger trailer that will hold TWO porta-johns so we could have a men's and a women's. Twice the business and twice the profits. With lines for a couple of miles along the highway and 5 and 6 hour waits in cars the out houses are needed a lot worse than a bag lunch, haha. |

I might rent a larger trailer that will hold TWO porta-johns so we could have a men's and a women's. Twice the business and twice the profits. With lines for a couple of miles along the highway and 5 and 6 hour waits in cars the out houses are needed a lot worse than a bag lunch, haha. Ya know, that wouldn't be a bad gig. First, you have a built in customer base that is at your beck and call, so to speak, second, they have an immediate need, and third, you have the means to fulfill that need on the spot. I say, go pher it. make it work. Minimal investment, immediate profits. I even have a name for your start up :"The Cushy Tushie". Plus, a good add on product would be a "adult diaper pack" for those individuals who prefer not to leave the privacy of their car, pack consisting of 1 adult diaper, a small pack of wipes, and a plastic bag to stash the thing in after the fact. |
