The word human is used to generally refer to the members of the Homo sapiens species, characterized by bipedalism, an erect posture, and complex brains that allow reason and the ability to form societies. “Human” can be said to be the scientific term to describe a human being.

I think each of the travelers on the Way to Emerald City to see the Great and Powerful Oz knew the answer to this riddle.

I would have loved to have seen the expressions of the first hominids who discovered that if they lovered a blade of grass down into the nest of ants they could bring up a lolipop fill of little ants a great treat for lunch. Chimps still do this today Also the first Homo's who used fire as a tool and control its use! "Claims for the earliest definitive evidence of control of fire by a member of Homo range from 1.7 to 2.0 million years ago (Mya). Evidence for the "microscopic traces of wood ash" as controlled use of fire by Homo erectus, beginning some 1,000,000 years ago, has wide scholarly support." "When did humans first control fire? 1 million years ago The oldest unequivocal evidence, found at Israel's Qesem Cave, dates back 300,000 to 400,000 years, associating the earliest control of fire with Homo sapiens and Neanderthals. Now, however, an international team of archaeologists has unearthed what appear to be traces of campfires that flickered 1 million years ago."
