Armed protests being planned at all 50 state capitols, FBI bulletin says
An internal FBI note obtained by ABC News shows warnings of "a huge uprising."ByAaron Katersky andCelia Darrough Starting this week and running through at least Inauguration Day, armed protests are being planned at all 50 state capitols and at the U.S. Capitol, according to an internal FBI bulletin obtained by ABC News. The FBI has also received information in recent days on a group calling for “storming” state, local and federal government courthouses and administrative buildings in the event President Donald Trump is removed from office prior to Inauguration Day. The group is also planning to “storm” government offices in every state the day President-elect Joe Biden will be inaugurated, regardless of whether the states certified electoral votes for Biden or Trump. "The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January," the bulletin read. "They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur." Federal law enforcement officials have advised police agencies to increase their security posture at statehouses around the country following the riot at the U.S. Capitol, law enforcement sources told ABC News. Following the violent pro-Trump breach of the U.S. Capitol last Wednesday, Democratic lawmakers in the House of Representatives pushed forward Monday with an effort to get Vice President Mike Pence and the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, which would declare Trump incapable of performing his presidential duties and would install Pence as acting president until Biden is inaugurated Jan. 20. read more here: abcnews.go.com/US/armed-protests-planned-50-state-capitols-fbi-bulletin/story?id=75179771www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/fbi-memo-warns-law-enforcement-across-u-s-possible-armed-n1253750We live in very violent times. I expect deaths and many injured and vast property damage the likes that have never been seen. Say inside and be safe. I feel sorry for Biden after the coronation this Country will just continue to explode.

I am a Republican voter for the most part, although I often have voted a split ticket. However I am abhorred by the idea that right wing splinter groups are forming militias and threatening violence, not only in DC but also at many state capitols. There are many who believe that the election was stolen and massive fraud allowed Biden to defeat Trump. Honestly I have gone back and forth on the issue, and subscribed to that theory at times, but in the end I have to concede that I don't think there were enough republican votes to make Trump victorious. It is my personal opinion that we are in for a rough ride with Biden/Harris, but on the other hand it has obviously been a pretty damned rough ride with Trump. There is another election in 2024 and I am sure that we can survive to vote again then if we are not satisfied with the performance of the incoming administration.
I am among those that believe there WAS some hanky panky at one level or another with the mail in ballots. Enough to affect the actual outcome? Probably not, but just the way the ballots were distributed coupled with the fact that those voting in person were not required in most cases to provide photo identification left the opportunity for cheating wide open.
Was the election stolen? This entire mail-in election from beginning to end has been less than free of opportunities to cheat, and the cheating was not necessarily confined to Democrats and Biden voters. I am a strong proponent of photo id for voting, and absentee voting should be limited to the military members that are not in country, and those infirmed and not able to get to the polls. The security of our election system has seldom been called into question, but just by nature, the latest election was rife with opportunities for distrust in the system, and for problems to arise. It upsets me to know that the Democrats propose every election going forward allow mail in ballots to anyone and everyone with the same lack of accountability that has caused the problems this time around. Aside from the restrictions brought about by the pandemic, there is little reason to go forward with what was devised as a way to allow maximum voting in this last election. Lets get back to the past system that has worked fairly free of problems with accounting for decades. The only other election controversy I remember was the hanging chads in the Bush/Gore race.
I am thankful that I don't live in a capitol district anywhere across the country. Nashville has only begun to recover from the bombing of a few weeks ago. There are still a lot of businesses and residents who have been displaced and a lot of major damage to buildings. I fear that we are facing a very real risk of violence, no matter WHERE we live. If these radical groups go through with any plan to cause armed conflict at ANY capitol I have little doubt that they will be put down rather swiftly and without any hesitation by authorities. It will be a bloodbath. I am 100% in favor of arming the national guard and law enforcement personnel with more than a club and a sidearm. This violence has to be quelled and if it takes violent and aggressive action by authorities to extinguish violence by domestic terrorists so be it.
Should I worry that it could be dangerous just being white and conservative? It is definitely a point to be contemplated and pondered. I am not an alarmist, but neither am I complacent and unaware of possible threats to my way of life or to personal security and that of my family and friends.

I don't believe that the election was rigged, no way. And it's not because I can't stand Trump. Do I believe that thousands of poll workers & officials were in on a vast conspiracy to steal the election for Biden? Don't think so. This crap was started by Trump & his lackeys who refuse to accept the fact that he lost. Too bad. Nobody should be surprised over ehat Trump has done. In 2016 he made the same claim, that if he lost, the election was rigged & he made the same claim last summer. So much for Trump's "love of country" to make such an outrageous & inflammatory statement. Some people actually do the right thing which is more then he's ever done.

Regardless the dye has been cast. Watch the mayhem that will be unfolding. Very worrying in these end times. I thought Pence would take Pelosi letter and call for the enactment of the 25th amendment but I guess that will not happen since they believe is will further divide the Country. Not for me. Trump needed to change his language but refused. His base of followers must really enjoy that aspect of him as evidence of what occurred in the Capitol and will unfold in the States Capitols as armed protests occur. When thousands of Molotov cocktails are found hidden for the most part which begs the question how were they brought in undercover. I think the Capitol Police were involved from the beginning.

If Trump was any kind of leader he would get on national tv & adress the nation demanding that these traitors stand down, accept the election results & accept Biden as POTUS. But he won't do it. Trump should be impeached, thrown out of office & permanently banned from all social media outlets to prevent him from riling up people hell bent on civil war. Enough is enough with this guy.

He did them on TV yesterday no violence but then said the response from is followers " was completely appropriate." So I guess we all wait and see.
So far the House does not have much republican voting in favor of a 2nd impeachment which does nothing anyway since if the article goes to the Senate votes will not be there unless Pelosi does what she says and waits till after the coronation when the Senate will be Democrat and introduce the article then.

I am of the understanding that there was hand to hand combat between the insurrectionists and the police and that also persons took feces and smeared it on the walls and floors. More is coming out every day and it will shake us to our core. Be not afraid.

If Trump had accepted the results & conceded immediately after the election none of this would have happened. He chose instead to lie about it & the nation is torn because of his lies & 5 people are dead because of his actions. This is our Country going forward because he will never change or admit he did anything wrong.

All the damage done is appalling. Smearing feces is just plain disgusting, but the capitol has seen lots of feces. Usually verbally spewed on the floor of the chambers There was a demonstration at the Federal courthouse in Abingdon Va, just up the road about 15 minutes from Bristol. It remained peaceful thank goodness but the police response kept the demonstrators across the street from the Federal Building and there was no counter demonstration. It is going to be a time for great apprehension to say the least. All I can say is that the groups that are threatening violence should expect to meet armed resistance from those protecting the Capitols, whether it be state or federal. I know if someone says that they are going cause harm to anyone else, they should be apprehended using any force necessary. I is a pretty sad state of affairs when 15,000 national guard troops have to be dispatched to our nations capital to maintain order and supplement other law enforcement agencies. I honestly think that Biden should be sworn in INSIDE the capitol instead of out doors. I actually worry that some nut case is going to take a shot at either Trump or Biden, one or the other.
