It has been colder than hell here at night the last few nights. In the teens last night. 32 right now and snowing like hell. Just fine flakes but starting to accumulate. Good day to stay in and keep the coffee maker busy.

Cold here too. No snow, dry, but cold.

It snowed pretty heavily for awhile, but has slowed now to flurries. We got less than an inch and visibility was more of a hinderance than slippery roads. I have to go out to the store for some onions. Kathy is going to make perogi for supper and ya can't have perogi's without onions cooked in butter.

Still nothing here. Still want to get rid of the old "new" snowblower and still have yet to take the new electric one out! $600+ deep in snowblowers and no use for either one.

I am not complaining about my snow blower sitting idle.

Thank God for global warming. I love this winter so far. Cold but better than that damn white stuff piled high so it is difficult to walk because so many refuse to shovel sidewalks even businesses.

We may get snow this weekend. Forecasters are saying winter is about to reappear with the jet stream dropping south allowing the polar vortex to drop south. We'll see. Matters not to me one way or the other. I realize for some winter is a hassle but I just want to survive this winter virus free.

Years ago Toro made a machine that included a Briggs and Stratton power head and several attachments. I used one in the snow blower configuration that was provided by a landlord I had at the time. If I remember correctly it also could be configured as roto-tiller and a reel type lawnmower.
I just tried to find reference to it on Google and can't find any reference to it, but the landlord had the snow blower and the mower attachments. It is doubtful that it was sold for long as it was, as I stated, only marginally effective. As a snow blower if you got into any sort of heavy or wet snow the drive belt would slip.
I had to wonder if it was truly efficient in ANY of the roles. I was only marginally effective as a snow blower, but better than shoveling.
Side note! It is 8 degrees colder here this morning than it is in Utica. Please take your arctic cold back up there in the Northeast where it belongs.
