I was in Sangertown three days before Xmas & I could have thrown a stone from one end of it to the other without hitting someone. If that place survives till the end of the year it will be a miracle.

Very tough time for retailers. Retail stores have been losing ground to on-line. Now people are afraid to go into stores and I can't imagine working in a store and coming into contact with 100's of people every day. We have been taking advantage of the stores that let us order on-line and bring the bags to our car. This week we are both feeling unwell and took advantage of a Walmart program that let us order on-line and they brought the bags to our house.

The Mall is ok during the week. I was there Wednesday to do some much needed walking and the place was dead. Those of us walking are really spaced out( in distance) plus masks are worn. I worked retail for a couple years and would not want to be in a store surrounded by people of all nationalities . I went into Target and several times thought I was the only one in the store. LOL. A friend of mine in Tennessee told me in his immediate area several large and small malls have closed or in process of closing. I do shopping online through Amazon, Abes Books, Overstock, Wayfair, Yummy Bazaar and Home Depot. I just bought a nice wooden chair from Stackchairs4less( www.stackchairs4less.com/ ) and if need some hats and stuff hitadouble.com/. Great shop.

I really enjoy Abe's Books since I can get so many books within my Masters level for just about nothing and I always get free shipping. Most are used but believe me the ones I do business with have used books that are brand new. Some are library books taken out of circulation so just some wear and tear which I like makes it seem like I read it several times. LOL
