I absolutely agree with you. It is what it is. Everyone has an opinion and is welcome to voice that opinion, which is the way that it should be. If a person chooses not to involve there selves in the opinions of others for whatever reason, they are free to leave. In this case I have always enjoyed reading your stuff, but now politics no longer interests me. So, the forum offers other venues of which I shall avail myself and so be it. About Biden, we have no choice but to wait and see what the future brings. None of us are immune to change or the vagaries of aging, and while I don't see any signs of early onset dementia, I do see and expect the fundamental signs of an older man. About trump: ask yourself: is he not the psychological/emotional mirror of our worst fears? Ask yourself: what did we as a people and a nation do to bring him about? Nothing happens in a vacumn, or for the water to fill the space, the space has to empty. So it is with energy, both positive and negative.

Well we have pretty much avoided the subject, or at least any in depth argument or back and forth debate during this campaign period. The gap between views are so broad that any in depth political discourse would foster nothing other than angst that would bring about heated and non productive drivel in my opinion.
I was as rabid in my dislike of Obama and company as many of you are of Trump. I guess that is the main reason I have leaned toward keeping the political debate to a minimum. The difference between conservative thinking and a more liberal leaning view. No minds would be changed and the chances of fostering hard feelings between otherwise friendly folks would serve no useful purpose.
You stated that you would be taking advantage of other subjects and threads on here. That is one of the reasons I was glad to see you come back. The discussions have become rather dull compared to what it used to be like a few years ago when you and Dave and others were active. Someone needs to breathe some fresh air into the forum and give it a little jump start. We have become a bit of a small chat room with a limited number still posting and subjects of interest are not as prevalent as in the past.
Dave once told me that forums such as this usually have a shelf life and they come and go. We have been in existence since early 2008 and I am hoping that we can at some point find a way to bring it back to the place it once was where people jumped right on here when they first booted their computers for the day.
BHU posts his opinions the present administration and I jokingly have taken a jab back in a few short words avoiding any lengthy back and forth but I never want to stifle anyone's ability to vent on here as long as it stays clean and civil.

Well Biden won't be running any marathons that's for sure but I don't believe he suffers from early stage dementia. He hesitates when he speaks because he's a stutterer. Big difference. I know what Trump's problem is but I'll keep it to myself. Have a nice evening!
