Christmas Eve storm could cause flooding, power outages, ice-covered roads in Upstate NY
By the time it’s all over, the storm could cause roof collapses, major river flooding, widespread power outages and icy roads just as people are heading out on Christmas morning.
“This is going to be a problem,” National Weather Service meteorologist Dave Nicosia told emergency planners and the media today. “Any time you add all of this together, it’s extremely complex.”
