The hospital itself only has 7 drawers in their morgue so when they say that the hospital morgue is full it is really not all that earth shaking during this period when the virus is spreading like wildfire. But even seven deaths is to many.

We have a lot of covid and a rising death rate up here also and Cuomo now tells us that by as early as next Monday we will be going into another lockdown zone, orange or red. It is truly, truly frightening and moreso because they ( NY State) are asking us to sign a pledge to get on board and be safe. It boggles my mind as to exactly why we would be asked to do this. I would like to think that intelligent adults would by now be aware that there is a continued pandemic on worldwide and take necessary precautions. How could a rational thinking adult deny this? And yet...there are Covid deniers...they are everywhere...one, believe it or not, happens to be a doctor I see on a monthly basis... but I won't stop seeing him because I have been seeing him for years and, otherwise, he is a wise, caring and compassionate man. It is my feeling that the govt can't help us anymore and that we are on our own. Each of us has to step up to the plate, as they say in baseball, and do their part. This is not really so bad. Responsibility is good for the soul.

The curve was neve completely flattened in NYS or elsewhere so what did we expect. We opened up the economy on the whim that people would be cautious but no people were tired of being isolated so the experiment continues. We are nothing but an experiment for the bureaucracy. The next hurdle is vaccination. Another experiment with a vaccine that may prove hopeful but not with less than 55% of the population agreeing to be vaccinated. So we wait and we wait until what. If COVID mutates once again and it will we wait again ... doomed we are.
