Did everyone watch this spectacular launch of 4 astronauts on their way to the International Space Station which is positioning itself over Florida ready for a docking tomorrow night. I cannot wait to see what objects the astronauts brought with them since this one is top secret. The last crew of two brought a plastic floating dinosaur belonging to one of their children. Here is the crew including first black man in mission! NASA astronauts Shannon Walker, left, Victor Glover, and Mike Hopkins, and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguchi, right, wearing SpaceX spacesuits, stop to pose for a picture as they walk out of the Neil A. Armstrong Operations and Checkout Building to depart for Launch Complex 39A during a dress rehearsal prior to the Crew-1 mission launch, Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Credits: NASA/Joel Kowsky I like the name of the one from Japan. lol. And the booster rocket returned to its drone launch pad in the ocean without any difficulty. Also a first. Imagine that rocket returning and actually landing on its target. Another giant step for mankind.

I love this statement: Not even gravity contains humanity as we explore one for all. #SpaceX #Crew1 @nasa

After the Challenger explosion I no longer watch the launches. I watched 7 lives end in an explosion that blew them into small pieces. I have mixed feelings about space exploration period. I really don't give a damn or care what is on Mars.

They all knew the risk. All of them do. But for the advances we gain and knowledge we acquire it is all worth it. No different than the men and women who go into the military. These people are all in a better place or places.
