Coronavirus is so widespread, Onondaga County will no longer list exposure locations

Syracuse, N.Y. – Onondaga County officials will no longer announce possible coronavirus exposure locations -- such as stores or restaurants -- after confirming positive cases where transmission with the public is unlikely, according to Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon.
Instead, officials are urging residents to assume that they could come in contact with Covid-19 whenever venturing out into the community, whether that’s running an errand, eating out or going to work.
“If you are out and about with people, you are high at risk,” Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said earlier this week.
