Illinois is running out of ICU beds & Dr's are near the point where they have to decide which patients to treat or not to. Rationing care is on the doorstep. It's a human tragedy. Fauci & other experts warned six months ago that this could happen & instead of people listening to them & following guidelines they believed deranged politician(s) who flat out lied about this virus & who only cared about their own self interest. It's a disgrace. How those s.o.b.'s can sleep at night is beyond me.

Yes this is crazy. I would not be surprised of everything is shut back down again. No leadership is the direct cause.

Pence is head of the virus task force but not a peep out of him. He's too worried that he may offend his boss. Why that would matter at this stage of the game is beyond me considering that come 1/20/21 they're gone. Monseignor Pence is also concerned about keeping his options open so he doesn't want to stick his neck out.

Neither Trump or Pence are talking about anything. It is like they are in hiding. Something is drastically wrong with this picture.
In the meantime Oneida County COVID numbers per day is over 100. Picente better shut down places where people gather and can let their guard down and do not have to be in the first place namely bars, restaurants, shopping malls, museums and theaters.

No matter where they are, people simply need to stay home unless they must go out for essential supplies, Wandering around the store looking for stupid shit is NOT essential at all. If I could stay home, better believe I would.

Of course there will still be provisions for politicians like Nancy and the Chicago mayor to get their hair done while we grow out hair looking like cave people. You are right Ralph. Wandering around the store browsing is stupid. Thank goodness I have shopped at both Food City and Kroger long enough to know where everything is and I can get in, go directly to where the needed items are and head to the self checkout. I now carry a dollar store stylus in my pocket when I shop, and use it to punch the numbers on the key pads at the store and at the ATM. This morning it was enter the store, turn right. Grab bananas on my way to get donuts in aisle 1, then it was on to aisle 6 for Cheerios and Quaker oatmeal. Out the door in about 10 minutes and never had to get close to anyone. Out to the truck, a squirt of hand sanitizer on my hands, rub a bit of it on the door handle as I open it, take my mask off, grab a Clorox wipe, wipe the key fob, my stylus, and the steering wheel and head for home.

I have a couple of those dollar store stylus' that I use for my tablet. I never thought to carry one with me to use on those keypads. Good idea. I can just imagine the germs on those things & I have never seen a story employee anywhere clean one. I do as you do when I shop. I make a list, I grab what's on it & I'm out the door. Since I started this shopping gig after retirement I'm getting pretty good at remembering where things are.

I was at the dollar store not long ago and they had saran wrap over the keyboard. They probably only changed that once a day if that often. I was behind some odiferous individual that I could smell even though I was distanced from him. I could envision him scratching his crotch, picking his nose and then punching in his PIN number, haha. Nope. No keypad for me at that store. I paid cash and took my chances on dirty money instead, haha. I didn't even want to use my stylus on that keyboard. I suppose since I was at the dollar store anyway I could have bought a new stylus and threw the old one away after I put in my PIN, haha.
