Very pretty. Mowing patterns such as that into lawns is pretty prevalent here. There are a lot of professional mowing and lawn care services here. I would guess that it has been made easier with the advent of zero turn mowers. In this hilly country around here many lawns slope back from the road and that sort of mowed pattern is rather pretty. I guess I am not any sort of artist. When I go out to mow the lawn I don't have time or the desire to draw pictures or make patterns in the grass. I get it cut and move on to other chores.
A guy that works part time at the bowling alley has a lawn service. He says that it is not that difficult to make such a pattern, but I have to think it would be time consuming. It looks as though it requires going over the lawn twice if you want such a crisscrossed appearance. He has one of those high dollar zero turn mowers, a couple of weed eaters and back pack blowers on trailer. He and a young kid that he hires can do as many as 8 or 10 average size lawns a day depending on how much trimming and clean up is involved. Personally, as much as I like the outdoors and yard work, I don't know if I could ever take that much prolonged strenuous activity in the hot southern sun. The guy is as tan as a walnut. If anyone is to get skin cancer from sun exposure, that sort of occupation certainly would certainly make one a candidate. I spend a lot of time in the sun, but not the long and uninterrupted hours, day after day like those men do.

We have a big yard, a double lot & it takes me about an hour to mow it not counting weedeating. I get it done, nothing fancy.

When my nephew was a teen he cut grass for spending money. One of the homes he did was up on the Parkway and the lawn was cut in the diagonal with one row lighter in color that the other row. I always thought it interesting.

I've been wanting to cut the lawn one last time before winter, but every day off I have it is either raining, just got done raining or I have an appointment with no time to get to it.
Frustrating!!!
