cnycentral.com/station/cny-resident-is-a-covid-19-long-hauler-suffering-from-debilitating-symptoms-for-6-monthsI feel sorry for this woman. There few feelings that are as scary as the feeling that you cannot get a full breath or having your heart pounding rapidly. I used to get very short of breath before my Afib was treated. A walk to the mailbox would leave me sitting in a chair in the carport gasping for breath. Thankfully they were able to remedy that situation with the ablation procedure. The night that I had the heart issue at the bowling alley was VERY scary. My heart was pounding and I was gasping for air. Thank goodness it passed temporarily and thank goodness I went to the ER when I did. It happened again in the ER and that was the determining factor in admitting me to the hospital where they discovered the 95% blockage. This poor woman had always led an active life, and now she claims that she can't walk across the room to the door without being out of breath and having her heart race. 6 months later she is suffering these symptoms and it is attributed to damage to her lungs and heart from Covid 19. She has my sympathy and prayers. When I was unable to catch my breath all I could think of was that I was dying. I was just waiting for the chest pain and loss of consciousness. To feel that shortness of breath and the heart racing every time she exerts herself must be very scary for a woman that young as well as being quite depressing not being able to live the active life she is used to.

Not a good road to be on for sure. I remember when my neck first tweaked out and was unaware of it. Chest pains and pains shooting down my left arm from time to time, prefect heart attack symptoms. Spent two years traveling between Dr & Cardiologist only to find out it was referred pain from my neck injury. Scary as all Hell. I hope it clears up for her.
