Drizzly day today

We are getting a steady drizzle as a result of Hurricane Sally. We are on the very edge of the outer bands of rain thank goodness. It is just dark and dreary day.

It is going to be a dull and uneventful day today. I had to take the dog to the vet this morning for them to give her the Trifexis for fleas and heart worm, and I am scheduled to have my teeth cleaned at 1 today. I have to preserve my dazzling smile that goes along with my dazzling personality ya know, haha. Just a do nothing day other than the dental appointment. If anyone is looking for me after 2 pm I will be found snoozing or watching tv. I will be the chubby dude in the big blue recliner.

Just got home. Headed for the recliner. It is still raining. It has not let up at all since I got up at 6:30.

My teeth are so clean and bright that Kathy is wearing her Foster Grants. Are you out and about PB, getting a bit of air and relief from your smoky neighbor's air pollution? It is race weekend this weekend here in Bristol. Lots of motor homes and trailers in the campgrounds but nowhere near the normal numbers. They are only allowing 30,000 in a socially distanced grandstand that holds 168,000 people for a normal, non-pandemic race. The restaurants, bars, and probably the movie theaters will be full of fans today because it is such a nasty day. Can't burn much of a campfire in the drizzling rain.

Same here, drizzle this afternoon. I had some topsoil left over & some grass seed so I figured I may as well use it up. I got some of it done when it started to drizzle so I put the rest off till tomorrow. We're in for a stretch of bright sunny weather for the next week or so, but we need rain. Yesterday, I picked some longhots & filled a brown grocery bag about halfway. The garden is about done for this year. And right now I'm on my recliner as well, sipping a cup of Folger's & parusing Clipper's Corner. Lol
