I started the day picking 4 quarts of hot cherry peppers, and a hand basket full of bells. Kathy just finished pickling the cherry peppers and she is frying up some bell peppers with onions to eat on our kielbasa sandwiches for supper. (kielbasa that they brought from the polish meat market in Utica)
Jimmy finished the tiling in the bathroom, while I fabricated the mopboards. I simply ran 1x6, ripped down to 1x5, across the router table and routed the same decorative edge on them that you see on store bought mopboard. By the time I had them made, painted and dried he was done tiling. He measured, while I cut to size and cut the 45 degree miters on the ends. He then installed it as I cut it and brought it in to him.
He is now taking a well earned nap while I clean up the shop, sweep up the sawdust, and put all the tools back where they belong.
PS: I cut one of the Anaheim chilis into strips, fried it up and put a few strips on the kielbasa sandwich. I must be getting wimpy. They said that they were a "mild" chili pepper. Wow! They are HOT HOT HOT! I think they will be great if I only use a few strips of it and saute them with the sweet peppers. I used to put the Italian long hots in cheese omelettes and loved them. The long hots at spaghetti Joe's were great on their crusty Italian bread, mixed with some sweet peppers.
I love hot peppers and spicy food, but I guess I will have to tone it down a little and use these peppers sparingly.

I grilled some kielbasa a few days ago & fried some long hots out of the garden. Those peppers were so hot I couldn't eat them & I've been eating hot peppers since I was in h.s. Lol. Last week I picked a plastic grocery bag about half full of them & gave them to my sister who loves them. She was warned......
I finally got to sealing the driveway today. Took me almost 3 hours. I bought 2 buckets of sealer but ran out when I was about 3/4 done. Had to make a Lowe's run for another bucket & I barely made it to the end but had just enough to finish. Looking good so far. I have about $100. invested & my time which is free. Plus a sore back from leaning over working the brush/squeege. We won't park our vehicles on it till Sunday.
