With my typical luck I went out to pressure wash the driveway and sure enough I worked for about 5 minutes and the pump went to hell on our little cheapy electric pressure washer. I guess we got our money's worth out of it. I bought it a Walmart about 7 or 8 years ago and use it often.
Sunny day so far. Prepping the trailer for occupancy tomorrow night for a week.
The exterminator was here again this morning because the bumble bees in the garage attic were still active. They are nested under the insulation so the fogging didn't get them all. We tore the gutters off and the facia board because I was going to replace it anyway, and he saturated the insulation in that corner with a sprayer. The stuff he used will kill the entire nest if even one bee gets it on it and returns to the nest. When we tore the facia board off I couldn't believe how many huge wasp nests were there, some recent and some old, but none were active so the fog must have gotten the wasps.
I can't imagine between the bumble bees and the wasps what we would have encountered if we just tore the facia board off had he not treated the area.

I finally used the Sun Joe pressure washer I bought last year a month ago to wash the bird cages. It was great! Much quieter than the last one I had. Hopefully I will be able to do the front of the house before I put it away for the winter.

Our last one was a Sun Joe and it lasted 7 yrs. I use it often in summer to wash down the double wide driveway, the sidewalks, the truck, the travel trailer, and the siding on the house. www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-Electric-Pressure-Washer-1800PSI-Ideal-for-Car-Wash-Rugged-Steel-Fram-Red-Black/481379254 I looked at both gas and electric and ended up buying the Hyper-Tough mainly because it has a large detergent tank and a nozzle that spins that is supposed to do better on siding. It came with 3 nozzle options. I'm going to buy some foam to foam blast the truck. You spray it on and it forms a thick foam, and after waiting a few minutes you just wash it back off with the pressure washer and the truck will shine like a new dime. A friend of mine uses it on a black truck and it really shines. Nothing harder to keep clean and shiny than a black vehicle.

Hang on to all your nozzles from the Sun Joe, you should be able to use them on your new one as well.

Yep, I did. I also kept the hose and gun. Never hurts for a hoarder like myself to have a few replacement parts. If I by one of the quick connect packages I can hook the two hoses together and I will be able to reach all the way to the back of the garage or the back of the house without moving the pressure washer and trying to set it somewhere stable in the grass.
