Yippy the Terrace Cafe is open. I love that place for lunch once or twice a month in summer. Prices are also fantastic. The Terrace Cafe by O'Connor's We're excited to welcome Terrace Café by O'Connor's to Munson-Williams. The new cafe is open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and has a flavorful menu we can't wait for you to try! I want to tackle the MWP Burger and the Sweet Tea Chicken that Panini Capri Sandwich sounds great also!!!!!!!

That entire menu sounds pretty good. Where is the cafe located? Outside behind the Fountain of Elms?

It is on the large porch outside attached to Fountain Elms looking into the backyard of the Museum. On the side of the building. Beautiful spot for it so it is protected if weather is a little chilly. Can also eat inside in their smaller restaurant.

Clipper also wanted to mention that an extended stay Hotel called Home 2 by Hilton is in the process of being finished. On the North Genesee St on the side looking into Harbor Point. I checked the webpage and they are all over and not bad in price. They have an equipped kitchenette in rooms that is very nice. Home 2 by Hilton

Thanks PB. It sounds very similar to the Marriot Townplace Suites in New Hartford. We were looking forward to staying there. Hopefully we will be able to come up sometime after the first of the year. Right now NYs numbers are much better than ours are. If we had come when we had intended to come Cuomo put his quarantine rules in effect the day after we were to arrive so we would have been confined to our hotel.
I will have to check it out. We have decided that a suite is the only way to go for us in the future. I don't want to drag the trailer that far anymore and a suite will be much more comfortable than a simple hotel room with two beds, a desk and a tv.
We are actually back to a point where I am limiting my self to just going to my rehab sessions and to the grocery store. I go to the grocery store early so I am there when they open.

Whenever Sharon and I visit family in Utica, we stay at the Rosemont Inn Bed and Breakfast, located in an old, brick, Victorian home on the east side of Genesee St., a few blocks south of Oneida Square. The entire interior of the "inn" is furnished with original Victorian furniture, etc., including all of the the guest rooms. It is a real trip back in time. Family owned and operated, food is delicious, reasonably priced, centrally located in town. It is an actual Victorian home, with original interior furnishings. If you're a history buff, check it out on the net for views of the rooms, etc.

I know your times here are filled with family obligations. It would be great if we could arrange some sort of get together. I can provide transportation to anyone.

Why I never Googled it I have no idea but I just did and wow. I may just stay a night.lol Rosemont Inn

The Rosemont looks awesome. I wish we could stay there but we travel with our Chihuahua and have to stay someplace "pet friendly."

CB-That's a good idea. Thank you. I'll let you know when our next trip is scheduled, however, the virus has left our future plans up in the air for now. The family at Rosemont has no objection to letting their guests show friends the interior, rooms, etc. of the inn. I believe that they have tours and an afternoon "high tea", by reservation.
