www.wktv.com/content/news/Several-crews-battling-trailer-fire-in-Verona-571499631.html3AM?? I wonder how many of the neighbors are sad for the loss of personal property, happy for the safety of the occupants, but possibly glad that the inconsiderate occupants that were launching the fireworks in the middle of the night have been displaced. What the hell is going on with the widespread problem with late night fireworks all of a sudden? Have there been any reports of offenders being caught and arrested? I have read of incidents in Utica, Rome, Syracuse, near Chris in Rochester, and now in Verona. With some pretty powerful fireworks legally sold here we may hear isolated fireworks going off occasionally all summer long, and near the 4th of July, and on New Years Eve they may last until midnight or so, although 10 or 11 pm is the legal cutoff time under county noise ordinances. NEVER have I heard fireworks after 11 or 12. It must be confusing to those who live in the inner city. They have to try to discern between fireworks and the sound of a semi-automatic weapon if out at night walking the dog or taking a stroll.

Must be a lot of people around here making a run to Canada where you can buy all you want. I think they're also legal in Pa. I like fireworks but I could never figure out the attraction of having your ear drums just about shot from m-80's, ashcans & cherry bombs.

In the evening right after 10PM I can watch the show of fireworks from my living and bed room windows. Looks no different than the 4th of July show I remember seeing at the Parkway.

I highly doubt anyone is traveling to Canada for fireworks right now with the COVID restrictions in place there. More likely PA is where they are coming from.
I think this has been the worst year for fireworks that I can remember. Every night since at least the beginning of June they have started right as the sun goes down. And these aren't little poppers either, some of them sound worse than the M80's we used to get. I'm surprised our birds still have feathers.

They might be buying them as far south as here. Tennessee sells anything less than a nuclear warhead in those fireworks stores.
