Thanks. I know the genealogy room is open on a part-time basis. I learned that by stopping in once when I was in town for a Dr appt.
The nice thing about ancestry.com is they have city directories, censuses, military records, death records etc. Still, I feel I'm missing some items that these records can't provide me, so I will email Mr. Antonucci for advice. It would be worth the trip to retrieve the information.
I just started uploading articles I've found on fultonhistory.com into my family tree. Pretty awesome. A distant relative of my husband's (who I met on ancestry.com) gave me instructions on how to convert pdf to jpg, which makes it look much nicer. One of my mother's cousins gave us a heap of old photos including my great uncles WWII military photos. Incredible.

I tried Ancestry a while back as a trial but found nothing helpful that I did not already know or was able to dig out on my own. Most of ancestry is for US and I need Europe. That is much costlier and probably much harder to find info.
I have been looking for my uncle's family with just the info I have. his nameand that he was somewhere in UK. I have been leaving posts all over. Yesterday looking for something I came across one of my own post and it had a reply from my uncles daughter. The post was answered in 2010 and I found it 2 yrs later. I had my email written but I did not leave the actual email but spelled it out such as writing dot com not .com or .net so search engines don't grab it. She either din'get this or really chose not to. I decided to look on FB and found them there and PM'd them but still haven't heard from them. I was jumping for joy but I'm beginning to think more they are not and got the impression from some I may not .

Update...........I finally recieved a reply from one of the cousins...I am thinking that we are a 100% positive its a match but there is some hesitancy from them since there is a difference in spelling but this is due to femine an non femine spelling that european's seem to use.
