Feeling my age and then some

Just took a relaxing shower and ate supper. Wrestled with the stump grinder for 6 hours today, sunburned my head and arms and wore my leg and arm muscles to a frazzle. I would never rent this particular machine again. My sister and Brother in-law came up to help me. The shoveled the grindings out of the way while I did the grinding. This machine is slow as hell and you can only take a small bite at a time. Took most of the day to do the one stump in the front yard. Tomorrow is a new day. The sweet gum tree was hard as hell, but I am hoping that the willow stump grinds much easier. The sweet gum stump was three feet across with plenty of roots at the base that also had to be ground out. The willow stump in 5 or 6 feet across with lots of roots that are on the top of the ground and will have to be ground out.

Tomorrow I will be looking like someone from Hee Haw. Straw hat and bibs will be the uniform of the day and there will be sunscreen on my arms.

Wish I could be there to help you. Not sure how much help but I can make a mean lemonade!

A mean lemonade would have been and awesome treat this afternoon when it got into the 80's. We ended up with quite a pile of empty water and diet sweet green tea with lemon bottles when the day was done.
