wibx950.com/uticas-father-joe-salerno-feels-a-responsibility-to-keep-people-safe/Listen to the entire interview. Father Salerno takes the political objections to the issue out of the equation and brings just plain common sense. Religion can be practiced without mass gatherings. Sins can be forgiven without wine and wafers, services can be held outside where practical, and with today's technology we can "gather" without actually being physically in each other's presence. Churches will survive as will parishioners. Patience and common sense need to prevail. For those of us that believe in God, we need to have the faith that he will guide us through this event and we, in time, as a civilization will survive.

Trump needs to stop pressuring governers to allow churches to open. Mass gatherings in any setting, churches included are a recipe for disaster. Instead of trying to kow tow to the Evangelical vote which he is doing he should stay out of it. For one thing it's none of the federal government's business whether churches open or don't. Secondly, he's got some nerve with his constant harrassment & threatening federal aid to States that don't bow down to his idiotic demands. Go play golf, find something to do besides rage tweeting.
