The State of Colorado or parts of it have reopened. I saw a story today on either MSN or Yahoo on the situation. The story featured a pic of a packed restaurant/bar with people sitting at tables, mingling, smoking & joking having a good time, not a person was masked. This is the reason that this pandemic wil not end until a vaccine is found. There's too many clowns on the loose who don't care. A vaccine is a long way off because reseachers have discovered that the virus is mutating. That is bad news. People need to take their own safety into their own hands because nobody is going to do it for you.

I guess I just don't understand some people. It is not necessary to wear a mask outside as long as you are not in close proximity to anyone so why is it such a big problem to put on a mask when you enter a store or place where you are not going to be able to guarantee that the 6 foot safe distance from other's can be maintained? Put your mask on, do your shopping and get back out. It is not a time for leisurely browsing or wandering the aisles with a passel of kids trailing along. If I am wearing a mask to protect YOU, the least you can do is wear one to protect ME. I hear so many people crying the blues about the mask requirements being an invasion of privacy and unconstitutional government over reach. In my opinion if there were fewer ignorant SOB's like that who have no regard for the rights and safety of others there would not be a need for government intervention. Some people bitch because of how slow the progression and plan for reopening businesses and yet they are too damned stupid to realize that if they would simply follow the suggested safety guidelines such as social distancing and wearing of masks, things could move along a bit quicker. The sooner people comply the sooner businesses can go from operating at a limited capacity with only half of a restaurant's tables being used, and stores only allowing a few people in at a time, to relaxing some of the requirements as cases drop to a manageable number with more testing and tracing ability in place. I had to laugh as I read a story from a guy I know. He was at Lowes and there were two guys crowding him in line to check out. They were bitching about the mask thing and had the balls to ridicule him for wearing one. They asked him if he really thought he was staying any safer wearing the mask. He told them if they didn't want to wear masks, and didn't find it necessary they could swap spit and breathe all over each other if they wanted but to back off and get the F away from him. I thought I was rather bold when I have made it clear on a couple of occasions that people were invading my safety zone. You would have to know this guy. He is about 6'4" with a shaved head and biceps about the size of my thighs. Most of us that bowl throw our ball at anywhere from 10 or 12 mph to a max of about 16 or 17 mph. HE throws his ball up to 23 mph with little effort. When his ball reaches the pocket, the rack literally explodes. I bet that those two didn't waste much time retreating a few feet and shutting their pie hole, haha.

If people had the same attitude that they have now over a lousy mask & other inconviences during WW2 we'd all be speaking German right now. I can just see people protesting that their rights are being violated over gas rationing & other sacrifices people made back them for the betterment of all. Different story right now & it's shameful.
