I just got the call from the health department notifying me that I tested negative for the virus. That is a relief, although I was not terribly worried. I have been observing all the social distancing and have limited my exposure to the public. I had not exhibited or noticed any of the symptoms. Hopefully that peace of mind can be preserved for the time being but with things loosening and businesses reopening, more people will be out and about and the risk of exposure will increase and so will active cases. We will just continue to take the precautions we have been taking. Our bravest adventure may be an outing where 3 other couples that we bowl with may meet at a local park with masks and precautions to eat a home packed picnic lunch and sit at a safe distance to simply converse face to face and get some fresh air and sunshine.
