Gas prices in Syracuse fall below $2; here’s where to find the 10 cheapest Updated 3:13 PM; Today 1:35 PM Syracuse, N.Y. — The average price of gas dipped below $2 a gallon in the Syracuse area for the first time in four years, but some stations are charging well below that threshold. The crowd-sourced GasBuddy price-tracking service listed the average price in the Syracuse area as $1.99 Monday morning, down from $2.04 a week ago. Nationally, the average is $1.73, down from $1.78 a week ago, according to GasBuddy. Was checking Utica on GassBuddy. Interesting: Only one $1.95 then rest over $2.00 with a high of $2.22 in North Utica www.gasbuddy.com/GasPrices/New%20York/UticaChecking I also noticed Utica is not considered a major City. Had to get the above by first going to Oneida County then Utica.
