Today is the day that I go for drive thru testing. A friend told me that it is very uncomfortable when they do it and your nose burns for a few minutes afterward, sort of like when you get water up your nose. She said she thought they were going to shove the damned swab out the back of her head, hahaha. I have an appointment for 1:20. It will be three or four days before I get the results. I am not sure if they mail them or call you on the phone. I will find out when I get there I guess.
It seems as though there are plenty of places around this area that are offering drive thru testing without so much as a doctor's order. They want to test as many people as they can as part of the effort to identify, isolate, and treat as many as possible. We haven't been hit anywhere near as hard as NY has and it seems that testing supplies must be in adequate supply here for now. They have a mixture of nurses and national guard medics doing the testing.

I know someone who has had all the symptoms for 3 weeks except shortness of breath & she cannot get tested because of that. And she is 65 years old. She's in self quarantine & cannot see her kids & grandchildren. It's un *******believable. And they're talking about testing around here? It's bs. Hope your testing goes well.
