www.wjhl.com/national-coronavirus-coverage/indiana-man-waiting-for-1700-stimulus-payment-sees-millions-in-his-bank-account/This would be a true test of my honesty. Would I try to rectify the mistake by whoever made it, or would I make a massive withdrawal, transfer the money to unnumbered accounts somewhere in the Caribbean without extradition agreements with the US, and pack my bags and move to a place with sunshine and blue waters to live out my life with my ill gotten fortune? Yeah, I can dream, but NO I would not take the money and run. I would cry real tears as I notified the bank that there had been a massive error. Then instead of packing my bags I would most likely make my normal ATM withdrawal for $100 for "walking around money." Can you even imagine the shock of seeing that balance on your ATM receipt? LOL

Most accounts have a limit on how much can be withdrawn by ATM per day. Adirondack has a requirement that an in person withdrawal of more than $1000 be initialed by a second teller. I didn't want that account accessible on line but I guess I will do it.

I'd sit on the money for some time to see if the bank finds the error. Hopefully they wouldn't.
