I saw an ad in the paper this morning for Hanes light weight sweat pants. Brand new for $7 a pair. They are normally about 10 or 15 bucks depending on where I buy them. I bought 4 pairs. I wear them around the house whenever I am staying home and not going anywhere out in public.
He was just getting home from Sam's Club and was unloading 12 of the 12 roll packages of toilet paper. He already has some stacked on a shelf in his garage. I asked him if they had any paper towels when he was there. I left there shaking my head. He was a single guy about my age. He can wipe his a butt until his heart is content. We are down to 3 rolls of towels and I haven't been able to find any where I normally shop. They come in every day and go out as fast as they come in. He said that they had towels so I went there on the way home. Yep, they had towels. The only ones they had were in 30 roll cases for $25. 110 towels to the roll. I think that Kathy and I will be set for paper towels for quite awhile with 3300 towels. LOL

How come you don't wear sweats in public? If you go to WalMart & your NOT wearing sweats you stick out like a sore thumb. You'll get eyed up & down. Lol.

When I go anywhere I have one pocket for keys and coins, one for cell phone, one for wallet and one for handkerchief. That accounts for 4 pants pockets. Plus I now need a shirt or jacket pocket for reading glasses. If I were to go shopping in sweats, I would need to borrow a purse from Barb. Now that would probably get me looks from Walmart.

Precisely CB. I have to have a pocket for the cell phone, one for the wallet, one for keys and change, and the remaining pocket for a handkerchief. When I go out I personally like something more tight fitting and secured with a belt. I am fat and baggy enough without going out in clothing that accentuates my not so slim figure.

I know it's not your favorite place to shop but Barb wanted to do a take out order from Walmart so that neither of us would go around a store this week. First time she checked on her phone there were no slots for a week. The next day when she checked there were slots available for the following day. She put here order in and it wouldn't let her check out.
She called customer service and had to escalate her call a couple levels to get to someone who did more than read from a script. She did to someone who treated her like a customer with a brain. Said that each day at 1 AM they opened up slots for the following day and that they filled up quickly. After that the system was overwhelmed and glitched.
At first she wasn't going to get up at 1 AM to order groceries. Then decided that since she was already planning on staying up till midnight to watch Perry Mason she might as well watch one more program. She called in and got a slot immediately. Since the order was already in her shopping cart it was done in minutes. Pickup was done this morning.

Walmart is only allowing 5 people per 1000 square foot to enter the store. It worked out well and I was surprised. I did see a family or maybe two families shopping together. The two Mom's had face masks and surgical gloves on and each of the 5 little kids had nothing. All I needed was to pick up a prescription. People kept their distance as per the many signs all around. I wanted to buy a steak to make steak pizzaiola on Sunday but when I got to the section I exclaimed: Where's the beef? None to be found. So out I went with a frown and waited for the Bus to bring me to Price Chopper. While waiting the white van pulls passed me and two others waiting and the young driver yelled out " put your damn fu4king masks on you mother fu%kers and drove off laughing and swearing. The two older ladies said to me where did she come from. I said well it is a known fact that they are missing some genetic code for socialization in their African genetic makeup!
Arrived at Price Chopper entered store and was surprised how quiet it was again with people keeping their distance. I found a nice top sirloin and purchased that and on my way out of the store I decided and nice glass of red wine with be nice on Sunday along with my steak pizzaiola. Entered liquor store got my bottle of Pinot Noir by Cavit then off I went.
