UTICA, N.Y. – A staff member at Masonic Care Community in Utica has tested positive for coronavirus. Robert Raffle, the executive director of Masonic Care Community, says the employee is currently in quarantine. “We are following procedures recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,” said Raffle. “We are taking every step as recommended by authorities to contain the spread. We want to make residents, their families, our dedicated staff, and our community aware of this situation and we will continue our efforts to implement and follow precautions and directives from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the New York State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.” Families of Masonic residents, as well as other staff members, have been notified. www.wktv.com/content/news/Employee-at-Masonic-Care-Community-tests-positive-for-coronavirus-569167411.htmlThis is not good at all.
