They wanted me on this for two weeks. Uh.....no. I've already starting the weaning process. Went to bed at 4:30am and slept until 7:30, laid there for four more hours with my eyes glued open. I spent some time reading more into it and if I had known then what I know now I would have told the pharmacist to send it to Cuomo instead.
Hope you feel better. Wait till people start getting their bailout checks. The stores will be a free for all. And people are still hoarding. Was in Price Chopper in New Hartford yesterday, not a roll of t.p. or paper towels in the place. There was 2 packages of napkins on the shelf, i grabbed one & handed the other to an elderly woman who was next to me in the aisle. Now I feel bad for not offering her both.

What the hell is with the toilet paper hoarding? It is still in fairly short supply here also, but at least you don't have ot worry about being able to find some. Every store I have been in lately has had at least SOME toilet paper. Walgreens had a large display of Scott toilet paper in the front of the store by the checkout counter the other day when I was there and food city has been staying on top of it with their single rolls of their store brand stuff with their private label.

Whenever or wherever I see toilet paper I buy it. I got several huge rolls that can last me well into June. I also bought several packages of paper napkins at another local store ( I don't want to reveal my source).
Make sure you wash all fruits and veggies since you do not know if an infected person handled it and the virus can last on there several days.
I don't like Scott toilet paper doesn't wipe enough and then one is forced to use more. Dr. Oz says to wet the paper because you clean better with water and use less paper.

Beats me. I went down the aisle looking for paper towels because we don't need t.p. right now. If I see it I just grab a couple loose rolls because we're not into hoarding things. We probably should start stocking up on canned goods & few other things because I believe things are going to get a lot worse in the next few weeks. This thing isn't even close to peaking. Hope I'm wrong.

Funny you should mention fruits & vegetables. When farm workers start getting sick, who is going to do the work?

BHU, Try NU Walmart either early in the morning after senior shopping or about 2:30-3:00 in the afternoon. We start bringing the paper off the truck in the afternoon when our shift gets in, and we have been holding half of it back to stock after the store closes for the next day. Otherwise there would be nothing there in the morning.

As far as washing vegetables they say you can mix a cup of white vinegar in water, and briefly put the veggies in the sink with the vinegar water. Then you take it out, rinse it and dry it with a paper towel. For lettuce, after doing that we always toss the outside leaves anyway. It supposedly kills e-coli and other things. I don't know about covid19.

They usually have a special soap in the produce department called Veggie Wash for just that purpose.

I've also noticed that they're not scanning receipts anymore.
